Delivery & Collection

Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Coverage

SIG Ireland delivers to addresses throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Some postcodes in remote or island locations may be subject to extended lead times or additional charges — we will contact you to confirm before processing your order.

2. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timeframes are as follows:

  • Standard delivery (ROI & NI): 2–5 working days
  • Heavy/bulky items (e.g. insulation boards, roofing materials, tile packs): 3–7 working days depending on product type and branch availability

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Irish and UK public holidays. Timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates.

3. Delivery Charges

A flat delivery charge of €35 (inc. VAT) applies to all orders delivered within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This charge will be displayed clearly at checkout before you complete your order.

Free delivery offers may apply during promotions — any applicable offer will be shown at checkout.

4. Large & Specialist Products

Many of our products — including insulation, roofing slates, ceiling systems, and technical insulation — are large, heavy, or require specialist handling. For these products:

  • Delivery will typically be made by pallet or specialist freight carrier
  • You must ensure someone is available to receive and sign for the delivery
  • Safe unloading access must be available at the delivery address
  • SIG reserves the right to contact you to confirm delivery logistics prior to dispatch

If you have specific delivery requirements (e.g. HIAB crane offload, timed delivery, restricted access sites), please contact us at the time of ordering.

5. Order Tracking

Where available, tracking information will be sent to the email address and/or phone number provided at checkout. For large freight deliveries, our carrier will typically make direct contact with you using these details to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure your contact details are accurate at the time of ordering.

6. Failed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to no one being available to receive goods, or due to access issues at the delivery address, re-delivery charges may apply. We will attempt to contact you using the details provided at checkout.

7. Damaged or Missing Goods

If goods arrive damaged, or if items are missing from your order, you must:

  • Note any damage on the carrier's delivery documentation at the time of receipt, and
  • Contact us at enquiries@sig.ie within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and details of the issue

Failure to report damage within this window may affect your entitlement to a remedy. This does not affect your statutory rights.
